Elaine Bankston, portrait artist, creates beautiful heirloom portraits in oil, pastel and charcoal. She accepts commissions and can create a portrait that will be cherished for many years to come. Her work is moderately priced and she can work from sittings or photographs. Elaine enjoys an excellent reputation and has painted over 2,000 portraits. She has done executive portraits and official portraits of judges and most recently, an oil of Oliver Hill, which is hanging in Oliver Hill Courts Building in downtown Richmond. Elaine has won numerous awards in various shows. Her work can be seen in many public and private collections throughout the country and abroad.
